Mary Kennedy Ward bio:

I left McLean High School at the end of the school year 1965 to teach at the American Community School in Athens, Greece.  In 1966 I returned to the McLean area to teach at Langley High School where I taught World Civilization, American History, World History, Political Science, and American Government from 1966 to 1985.  After retiring from Fairfax County Schools I worked as Executive Director of the Jefferson Foundation in Washington from 1990 to 1995.

In 1996 my husband, Tom Ward, and I moved to Raleigh, NC, my hometown.  Tom also taught at Langley, served as a social studies supervisor in Fairfax County and worked for the National Endowment for the Humanities.  We enjoy being in Raleigh as we miss Washington life.

I look forward to renewing acquaintances  students and teachers at the reunion.
