Dennis Osborn bio

After leaving McLean High School, I continued teaching in Fairfax County, finishing my career with 20 years at Robinson High School.  Though I always enjoyed teaching, I was very happy to retire early (56) and do some more community and church activities.  For the county community, helping establish Fauquier Habitat for Humanity was a large part of my retired life (by the way, we are building 8 homes for some of God's people in need this year).  One other major activity was bringing "circuit rider" (public transportation) to the town of Warrenton 5 years ago.  Ellen and I are very involved in church activities and Bible studies and by the picture you may have seen going on cruises have given us much enjoyment.  The following story happened during my stint at MHS.  Ellen started having what she considered back pains in late evening that didn't go away.  By 2 a.m. she called her OB-GYN and he told us to come on in to the Washington Hospital Center (an 18 mile trip from Vienna).  This was December 14th; I still have visions of having to stop the car at 2 a.m. and helping deliver our first-born (David).  We got to W.H.C. at 2:40 and Davis was delivered a half hour later!  Our Michael on the other hand took his time (6 hours after getting to the hospital).

We look forward to seeing so many of our old friends!!
